The marriage knot has now been tied in both the "colonies" and here in England--Katie and Liam's native lands. I think that is pretty cool. What a privilege for a grandfather to share in both. I'm suggesting they tie the knot again in Paris next year (I'd like to get back there one more time) and if not Paris I would suggest Rome or maybe Madrid!
It is very "HOT" in England this week--an unusual phenomena, nothing like the England Rudyard Kipling described: "A thin grey fog hung over the city, and the streets were very cold; for summer was in England.” So far the heat has not deterred us--after all, we're accustomed to it. I think we'll hold a yard sale, however, and sell all the rain gear, sweaters and jackets we brought along with us. That will lighten our suitcases--though it will also entice some of our traveling companions to buy more souvenirs--to fill them back up again.
Today we'll continue touring the city of York. There is so much to see; so many pubs to visit, so many people to meet, so much to learn.
